Look who's rolling over!!

Dylan started rolling over consistently today. It seems like every time I put him down, he immediately rolls over. When I was trying to get the video, he rolled over so quickly I had to put him on his back three times before I had the camera ready to roll. When I showed Dave the video, he said Dylan makes it look so easy.

The third Dr. Hobbs in the making...

There is a wonderful receptionist in Grandpa Hobbs office who loves to sew. She has made Dylan some really cute things. Her latest is his first set of scrubs. He looked so cute we thought we'd take some pictures. It fits him nicely. Maybe he will go into the medical field like his dad and grandpa. Keep on the tradition of growing up and becoming Dr. Hobbs!

Bib-O-Rama

Dylan has received some really cute personalized bibs from a friend in Atlanta (Thanks Malti-we love you and miss you!). We are hoping that she and her (sort of still new) husband can plan a trip to Florida this coming summer. Malti and I met when she taught spanish to my very first class in Marietta, Georgia. That was almost ten years ago. My, how time flies! Dylan and I had a little photo session to get some cute pics with the bibs. It's much harder to get him to smile for the camera when he is so interested in figuring out what the camera is and whether or not he can get it in his mouth.

Happy Birthday Aunt Katie!!

Twenty-two years ago I was blessed with a little sister. It is hard to believe that she is getting ready to graduate from college. I remember so much from when she was little...ballet classes...horse shows...spandex shorts (she would only wear a horse shirt and spandex shorts for the longest time)...all the good stuff. Even though I don't see her as often as I would like, we were able to get together to celebrate her birthday. And, it was the very first time she held Dylan. We had a delicious dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and enjoyed the time we had to catch up with each other.

We love you Kates and hope you had a great birthday. We look forward to hanging out with you in December!

Pumpkin Carving Time!

SO...we decided we would carve the pumpkin after all! Dave gathered the necessary materials.

I drew a couple practice faces before we decided on this one...

We wanted something not too complicated. Can't you tell?? Dave did the cutting, I did the gutting, and Dylan did the watching.

And, yes, that is us carving the pumpkin in our bathing suits outside by the pool. It was a mighty hot day! Hunter even got to partake in some HALLOWEEN action playing fetch.

After finishing up the pumpkin, we headed inside to cheer our beloved Gators on to a 41-17 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs.

FINALLY, it was time to get ready for trick or treating. After we got dressed, we headed over to Aunt Steph and Uncle Jason's house to walk around the neighborhood. One house had some spooky characters that we stopped to grab a picture with. The man did not move!! CREEPY, but the kids thought it was cool.

After all the fun, someone got a little sleepy...
