Boiler Up!!

Dylan spent his 4 month old birthday hanging with Grandpa and cheering on the Purdue Boilermakers. Grandpa is hoping Dylan will follow in his footsteps and go to Purdue. Mommy and Daddy say he can cheer for that team every now and then, but his heart belongs with the Gators.

He learned what a pom pom was, even though he'd rather eat it than shake it!

With all the excitement of the WIN, Dylan got a little sleepy and took a quick cat nap right on Grandpa's shoulder!

Spot the Cutest Pumpkin in the Patch!

Do you think you can see it? We found the cutest pumpkin very quickly.

Dylan had his first trip to a pumpkin patch last night. I had to do some aimless driving during the day to find a patch for us to go to. The one I usually drive by on my way to work is not there this year so it was pretty funny as I drove around St. Pete trying to look for pumpkin patches. And just as a friend returned my call with an address, I passed the same one she was getting ready to tell me about. It was huge! Tons of pumpkins and plenty of places to get some great shots of the fam. We got the perfect pumpkins! A big one and an itty bitty baby one. We still haven't decided if we are going to paint or carve. Stay tuned to find out...I know you all are just on the edge of your seats waiting.

This Weekend was FAN-tastic!

We had a sports-filled weekend. On Saturday morning, we went to watch my niece Callie play in a soccer game. She looks so great out there on the field and she scored the only goal for her team!!

We enjoyed some quality time with Aunt Kristin on the sidelines too!

After the soccer game, we headed home to cheer on the Gators with some friends. It was a VERY close game, but our Gators were able to pull it out and beat Arkansas. Laura helped with feeding and burping (She got a little yuck-yuck on her shirt too Preston). And after a quick bath and jammies, Dylan was ready to call it a night.

And...On Sunday, thanks to Grandma Hobbs, Dave and I were able to go and enjoy the nice cooler weather as we cheered on the Bucs to their 6th loss against the Carolina Panthers. Dave says we are just going for the number one draft pick.

Quality Time with Elephant!

Dylan has really started to get a little more vocal. Sometimes he just goes on and on. And he LOVES bringing anything to his mouth, whether it's a teething ring, rattle, burp cloth, blankie, or stuffed animal.

YUM...tastes like chicken!

Dylan has definitely found his feet. He loves to get those suckers in his mouth...He works very hard and for a very long time until he eventually gets one. They must not taste that bad because he keeps going back for more!

Well Rested

Does Dylan look well rested or what? Last night was a great night for the Hobbs household. Someone decided that just 12 days short of turning 4 months old was a good time to sleep through the entire night! He went to bed at 10 and slept until 7. And even though he slept so well, his parents did not have so much luck because we were waking up occasionally thinking something must be wrong...there was no way he was still sleeping. SO, I thought it was appropriate to take some morning pictures to celebrate his great sleep.
