The Pier Aquarium

Since the Pier is going to be demolished soon, we thought it might be nice to check out the aquarium with Dylan. As luck would have it, I had a friend whose husband was singing at Cha-Cha Coconuts that night too. So, we enjoyed the fish and then had some dinner upstairs while listening to music.

Just like his Daddy...loves to learn everything!

Big Guy, Little Guy...

Thanks to Gramps (my dad), Dave and Dylan had matching shirts to wear the other day when we went on a walk around the neighborhood (That's about the only place I could get Dave to wear it).

Don't they look cute?

Dada, Mama, and Baby...

He says Dada at least a hundred times a day. (I feel like chopped liver) But it is so sweet. I love the way he says baby.

A Shout Out...

Dylan is really talking up a storm, so thought we'd share a few clips with everyone.

Blueberry Pancakes!

Just call me Martha...you know me, the regular old Martha Stewart. I recently decided I would try to make some homemade blueberry pancakes for breakfast. They actually turned out pretty well. (I even ate them myself) Dylan was cute. He liked the pancakes, but steered clear of the big blueberries. I thought next time, I might mash them up a bit. But, here are a couple pics from our morning...

Community Helper Month

At Dylan's school, the focus for the month of September was on community helpers. Dylan learned all about teachers, police officers, nurses, doctors, post office workers, AND...

FIREFIGHTERS!!!!

This must have been Dylan's favorite because he got such a cool hat that he loves to wear. It even inspired him to be a helper and make sure Daddy was mowing the grass the right way.

Sunset Dinner

On a Friday evening, we decided it might be nice to head to the beach and eat dinner. So, we headed out to Sloppy Joe's on Saint Pete Beach. We called Uncle Andy and he and Rachel came to meet us also. Before we left though, Dylan did have to terrorize the dog a bit. Hunter is such a sport. He must love that little man as much as we do.

While we were waiting for our friends, Daddy and Dylan were doing a little coloring...

Quick pics with Mommy and Daddy...

When we'd had enough of sitting, it was time to RUN and HIT THE BEACH!!!

Ok, so he would rather run up and down the ramp and sidewalk than go walking in the sand. We did eventually get him to go to the beach, but only briefly. It was getting late and dark. But overall, a successful night!

Last Vacation of the 2010 Summer!

It was the annual trip to Sanibel Island. We headed South the first week in August to take a little vacation before I had to head back to school. Here are some of the many pictures we took. Check out Dylan's first bike ride!
